After over 15 years in healthcare, Allison has seen how crucial communication is to the culture and health of an organization, as well as to its outward representation to patients, vendors, and the community. Watching organizations flounder in a sea of unhappy employees, high turnover rates, poor patient reviews, and damaged community and vendor relationships is so disheartening. No one wins in those situations — not the employer, not the employee, not the customer/patient, and not the community.
Allison believes connection built through intentional, authentic, and effective communication is at the heart of a healthy organization. Her mission is to help individuals, teams, and organizations use effective communication to create connection, improve employee engagement, and foster healthy corporate cultures. We spend too much of our lives at our jobs to allow them to continue being environments that are toxic and void of clear communication, trust, and empathy.
